Winter

heavy low skies rule
star snowflakes cover earth skin
winter long and dark

For Four Seasons Of Haiku

The Storm

As I watched the thundering waves roll onto and over the empty beach.
The sky turned angry with heavy black clouds. Today the storm would hit.
God help all those lost at sea. Wind whipped around me pelting the wet sand
like diggers across my skin. The storms fury was fully upon us as the wise took
shelter. I searched the waves as I had done every day since summer. The sea's power
always won and never gave back.

she forever lost
gone with tide wind and black sea
nevermore to come

Nest

the old tree rose up
higher then the year before
branches closely twined

birds high above swooped
making their nest at the top
many years it was so

tiny birds huddled
woven into it's denseness
hiding from the wind

when comes the springtime
the sun warms the new made nest
where tiny birds sing

Games Of Time

roads lead left and right
I walk this journey alone
none to hold my hand

darkness surrounds me
yet stars twinkle so brightly
were once we pledge love

then he did love
our love so hot and burning
time plays a fools game

I walk this journey alone
broken  weary weeping so
time cold cruel endless

One Single Impression

 Marriage

when first we did meet
my heart was surprised by love
you my angel true

soon our hands entwined
with a golden ring for each
young and free were we until dusk

all to soon darkness
the bitter taste of fallow
our hands drift apart

the binds of our love
flutter as wispy smoke dreams
drifting above new tilled earth

Haiku Heights

Desert

desert ice blue-black
once swirling sand snakes lie still
as night sweet night reins

Haiku Heights

Tree

wind weaves in and out
tree branches sway in darkness
as dreamers dream
